Lake Kegonsa State Park Beach - Lake Kegonsa

ADDRESS:
2405 Door Creek Rd, Stoughton
DIRECTIONS:
Lake Kegonsa State Park
DESCRIPTION:
Opened in 1967, the park is a mix of woods, prairie, and wetlands. In 2004, a project was completed to try to stabilize the beach from wave and ice action. DNR staff designed the new beach layout, creating a shorter beach frontage using riprap, two seawalls, and pea gravel. DNR staff monitor the beach area for E. coli levels. Historic data can be found at www.wibeaches.us.
